BLKN is the kit arm of Balkan Running Tour — four people, one trip a year, since 2015. Zagreb, Belgrade, Sarajevo, Skopje, Sofia.
We make what we could not buy: plain, hard-wearing training gear with no logo tax. Everything is printed to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Nothing gets destroyed at the end of a season.
Once a year, a long weekend. A taxi, a bus, a tram — whatever takes you up. Then the run back in.

Started this. Keeps starting it again every January.

Reads the map. Still gets it wrong the same way every time.

Brings a book he never opens.

Books his flight last. Always makes it.
There are four of us. That is the wrong number.
Four people fill an Airbnb. Four people agree on a restaurant, eventually. A fifth has never come, and the tour doesn't grow by adding one. It grows sideways — other cities, their own four.
Four is the number. You're already one.
Pay something to take you up — taxi, bus, tram, whatever's there. Then run the way back.
GPX, photos, whatever you remember. That's what makes the chapter real.
ATTENDANCE FOR 2016–2019 ISN'T RECORDED YET.
Nobody needs our permission. There is nothing to sign up to. Send the file if you do it.
Every chapter gets its own road printed on the back of its kit — the one thing only that chapter can buy. Nobody has one yet.
